The World Ninja League (WNL) is one of the largest and most established ninja warrior–style obstacle course racing leagues in the world. We’re excited to be hosting many competitions at Ninja U Cedar Falls! There are divisions for children starting at age 6 through masters division (40+) and every age in between. All divisions will be included in these events.
These competitions are sanctioned by WNL and hosted by Ninja U. The courses will be designed by Ninja U course designers and veteran athletes in line with WNL standards to provide the best ninja experience possible.
WNL H2H Qualifier (Tier 1): Competitors race on identical (challenge) courses. The top 32 athletes in every division for the region will be invited to H2H Regionals. March 29th.
WNL Regionals (Tier 1 & 2): All athletes who have qualified for regionals are able to compete for a chance to go to the world finals! They will run a placement (Flow) course, as well a challenge course to determine who qualifies. World Finals will be in Greensborough, NC. April 24th – 26th
WNL H2H Regionals (Tier 1): All athletes who qualified for H2H Regionals will race for a chance for qualifiy at H2H worlds in Greensborough, NC. Same format as qualifiers. May 17th – 18th

The North Central Regional will be hosted right here at Ninja U in Cedar Falls, Iowa. World Finals will be held in Greensborough, NC.
Challenge Course Rules
Athletes are ranked by furthest progress achieved, with fastest time used as a tiebreaker.
Each athlete is allowed a maximum of two total retries, with no more than one retry per obstacle.An athlete is considered failed out once all retries have been used. After failing out, the athlete may continue attempting obstacles until time expires or the buzzer sounds; however, additional progress will not count toward scoring.
Registration closes at midnight on Wednesday, March 25th. No refunds will be issued.
Competitor categories will be capped, so register early to guarantee your spot!

WNL Regional: The top 16 of each division will advance to the WNL Finals.
Every athlete will run two courses. Course 1 will be a Flow course. Course 2 will be a Challenege course. The final score will determine who moves on to Worlds.
Flow Course Rules:
Flow Courses are all about perfection! Athletes are judged by their ability to make it through obstacles in a given course and get from platform to platform without falling off the obstacle! Once an athlete falls off an obstacle, that is it! In this format, athletes are ranked by the number of obstacles they complete in succession. If multiple athletes are tied for the same number of obstacles in succession, the athlete who completes those obstacles faster will be ranked higher!
Challenge Course Rules:
Athletes are allowed to retry two obstacles per Challenge Course. However, athletes may only retry a failed obstacle one time. The athlete must complete the failed obstacle on their subsequent attempt to progress through the course. Once the athlete has used up their 2 retries or fails a retry attempt, the run is over.

Join us for an action-packed week of ninja training and fun! Camps run Monday–Friday on July 13–17. Monday–Thursday focus on ninja basics, games, and skill-building with real American Ninja Warriors, while Friday features a timed Ninja Warrior course with a buzzer finish.

Every Thursday, 9–10am, it’s Toddlers-Only Open Gym at Ninja U!
There’s so much they can do: mini 4′ warped wall, swing, jump from padded box to padded box, run up the Everest hill, play ball in the dodgeball pit, and walk a balance beam — all without big kids taking over the space.

We will be running a double header on Saturday (Tier 1) and on Sunday (Tier 2)! A Challenge course and a second Competition running under the Flow course format. With double the courses comes double the qualifiers and double the season points.

Each division will run their Flow course and then Challenge course after, if they decide to compete in both. Tier 1 will be on Saturday February 28th and Tier 2 will be on Sunday March 1st. Kids will compete in the morning, while adult divisions will be held later in the day for both competition days.
Spectators
Cost is $5 at the door. There will be no dedicated play space for spectators.
General climbing chalk and general athletic tape are allowed. Ninja\U does sell small liquid chalk bottles for $6 and large ones for $18.
